It is December, the Turkey from last month a distant memory. Received a long awaited email from John on 4 December 2009. Rick at MMC got the car back from all the metal work and paint prep and started to do final alignments to make sure that everything is set properly so that body and panels can be painted.
On 9 December 2009, I received an update with pictures of the painted panels of the Olds and the body getting ready for paint in another week.
Here are some more famous last words:
“We have had people in and out of the shop looking at the painted parts and everyone says “wow”. “
There were some major problems with the paint that I will share down the road.
