One of the more complicated detailed work left to do before the Olds can be shipped off to Kings Auto Upholstery is the W-30 OAI setup. Even though the engine bay is massive, it has quickly been filled up with components and accessories. Getting the hoses from the air cleaner unit over to each site of the fender so that they can be place into a clip that is mounted to the inner fender cover was no easy feat. Once that was completed, Rick had to make two large holes to mount the under the bumper air scoops and connect those scoops to the hoses, which are then eventually clamped with some large diameter clamps.
Once this was completed the car was finally loaded up into a trailer and sent off to Kings.
Other than me going to Kings to meet them on the arrival date of the Olds, it was going to be a long wait before I will start getting statuses on the work. This was actually okay, since I needed the break in action and focus on other things.
